A Top Spot to Visit When in London
塔桥的点评
点评：Tower Bridge is a must see spot when you are visiting London. And if you plan on staying in London for a few days you should schedule Tower Bridge early in your trip as the views from the bridge are quite impressive and it really lays out the city for you.
Your visit to Tower Bridge starts right beyond Tower of London (another solid spot to visit). You enter and can then immediately climb to the top of the bridge, if you are unable they do have a lift, but if you can make the walk do so as the steps are curvy and cool and there are neat learning spots along the way. Once at the top you can walk across the span, view the River Thames from the glass panels on the floor and look out across the Thames in both directions to see The Walkie Talkie, The Shard and multiple other bridges and buildings. Once at the end of the first span you can cross over to the second span and see it all again from another perspective. All along the way on both spans are fun factoids and lots of spots for picture taking.
Once you complete both spans you make your way down and then walk back to the where the museum is where you can see the gears, oil in use and other bridge mechanisms. They also have a gift shop if you are so inclined. This was a trip highlight and we would highly recommend others try it out as well!
