Caves Anna d’ Codorniu的点评
点评：We had a wonderful visit to Codorníu in Penedès during our recent trip to Spain.
We took an Uber from Barcelona and arrived almost an hour early, which turned out to be a bonus! We had time to enjoy the beautiful grounds and even taste a few grapes from the vines that were scheduled to be harvested just five days later.
Our host, Arnau, was warm, welcoming, and informative. We really enjoyed learning about Codorníu’s fascinating history, touring the impressive cellars, and, of course, tasting the cava. The property itself is beautiful and well worth visiting if you are spending time in the Penedès wine region.
We enjoyed the cava so much that we purchased a couple of bottles. We would happily have brought home more, but we were continuing on to Portugal afterward and traveling with small suitcases!
At the end of our visit, the staff kindly arranged a taxi for us to the Sant Sadurní d’Anoia train station. It was only a short drive and cost about €15, making our onward journey very easy.
A memorable morning, wonderful hospitality, beautiful surroundings, and delicious cava. We highly recommend visiting Codorníu when in Penedès. Five stars!
