点评:Framed by dramatic, towering rock formations and surrounded by crystal-clear turquoise water, this beach is incredibly picturesque. It’s the kind of place where you arrive, look around, and immediately understand why people fall in love with Cabo. 🤍
We arrived shortly after 10 a.m., but with temperatures reaching around 31°C, the heat was intense. Unfortunately, I couldn’t stay as long as I wanted because I could literally feel my energy disappearing. If I were to do this again, I think I’d come closer to noon or even a little later, when I could hopefully enjoy the beach without feeling completely drained by the heat.
We rented a beach umbrella for 300 Mexican pesos, and the people renting them were so friendly and helpful. There are also free showers for both men and women near the entrance from the parking area, which is such a nice convenience after spending time in the sand and ocean.
One little adventure before even reaching the beach: our GPS took us to what appeared to be the first entrance, but it turned out to lead toward a private gated community residential area. Thankfully, the security guard was very helpful and explained that there was another entrance specifically for public beach access. We followed his directions and eventually found our way there. So, if your GPS takes you somewhere that doesn’t look quite right, don’t worry — there is a public entrance.
And then there was the ocean… 🌊
The water was absolutely gorgeous, but the waves were stronger than I expected. As someone who isn’t the strongest swimmer, I definitely felt a little anxious because I could imagine the current pulling me farther out. My partner, on the other hand, absolutely loved it and had a great time enjoying the waves.
For me, the real highlight was simply taking in the scenery. The contrast of the deep blue water, golden sand, and rugged rock formations makes Santa Maria Beach feel incredibly special.
It may not have been the longest beach day for me, but sometimes the most memorable places aren’t about how long you stay — they’re about the view you remember long after you leave. 🌴✨
