Some nice animals

点评：Lots of interesting animals, but no real engagement or education/interpretation available for visitors. The only two staff members were saw were at the touch pools telling people to touch gently. Could gain some information by reading the signs, but no scheduled training or feeding or animal enrichment (I asked both at the gate and at the touch pools who confirmed they don't offer any real presentations for guests).
For the most part the tanks were clean and the animals appeared healthy, though the arctic foxes were pacing, a big different from the engaged and active foxes we saw at St Felicien.
September is the end of the season, and there was little food/beverage available, which meant no hot cup of tea on a crisp fall day.
Zoos are tricky, as they are expensive to maintain and animals need care and attention. This one appears to be doing well for the animals, but I found the visitor experience was lacking.
