Well worth a visit.
The Trolleybus Museum at Sandtoft的点评
点评：A really enjoyable visit. We were there about 3 or so hours. It was the 1940's event, & was very well done - the museum lends itself to something like that. The bus tour round the villages was interesting and the guide was informative & good fun. (Steve? Sorry, not quite sure). We also had a ride in a 1937 taxi and went on one of the trolleybuses round the site. You don't have to pay extra for the rides. There were plenty of 1940s stalls and a prefab to look round. The miniature trolleybus & tram (both actually run) were cute!
It was nice to see so many people in 40's dress.
The only improvement I think would be to have a couple more mobile units providing food. There was one, doing fish & chips (v good too) but there was a long queue, & the queue in the tearoom was such that we didn't attempt to eat there. Overall though, we had a lovely visit. Credit goes to those who run this unusual museum - I believe all are volunteers.
