What an amazing experience from start to finish. I’ve followed Dalscone Farm on social media for a few years, so I was incredibly excited to finally visit. I’ll admit I was slightly worried it might not live up to expectations — but it completely surpassed them.
Getting to meet so many of the famous animals was such a highlight. Seeing Fiona, the no longer loneliest sheep, with Fergus and Felicia was lovely, and meeting Bug, the Golden Guernseys, Nomad, Sorcha and so many others made the day really special.
The small animal areas were fantastic, and the staff were so knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the animals in their care. It was also amazing to meet Ben, Kyle, Pete and Conner, who were all so friendly and welcoming.
In fact, every member of staff we encountered throughout the farm was helpful, cheerful and genuinely lovely. The shop is an absolute treasure trove, full of brilliant gifts and local goodies, and the restaurant was outstanding. They were also more than happy to cater for gluten-free requirements, which was hugely appreciated.
An unforgettable visit and somewhere we’ll definitely return to.
