Blah food, lame story, good effort from actors
Music of Denali Dinner Theater的点评
点评：As part of our land tour, tickets to the dinner show Music of Denali were included in the package. Hubby and I both enjoy musical theater and had high hopes for this production. First the dinner.... As has been stated before long tables, "family style" dinner, pass the food and share. This is ackward with strangers at best. The salmon was moist but no sauce. No lemon to squeeze on it. Just kind of blah. Hubby liked the brisket. It was very tender. The barbeque sauce was VERY heavy with ketchup, overpowering. Mashed potatoes although they didn't seem to be instant, there was no flavor, just bland. The dessert was a bowl of canned apple pie filling with oatmeal crumble on top and a big pile a squirt whipped cream on top. Again, this was to be passed around the table. Needless to say by the time it arrived at the last couple of diners, zero whipped cream. We didn't leave hungry, but generally school cafeteria quality.
The show and actors.... The actors were also the wait staff. They were enthusiastic and had good musical abilities. Although one young lady was quite intent on hitting those very high notes. The story it's self was lame, lacked any spark, seemed to drag, no humor, just bad. Glad when it was over.

翻译：作为陆地旅游套餐的一部分，行程中包含了“德纳利之音”音乐晚会的门票。我和丈夫都喜爱音乐剧，因此对这场演出满怀期待。先来说说晚餐……正如之前提到的，晚餐以长桌形式呈现，采用“家庭式”用餐方式，大家轮流传递食物并分享。不过和陌生人一起这样做实在有些尴尬。三文鱼很嫩，但没有任何酱汁，也没有柠檬可以挤汁。味道算是平淡无奇吧。我丈夫倒是挺喜欢牛胸肉，那块肉确实非常嫩。这款烧烤酱的番茄酱味极其浓重，甚至盖过了其他所有风味。土豆泥虽然看起来不像是速食产品，但毫无味道，就是很寡淡。甜点则是一碗罐装苹果派馅料，上面撒了燕麦碎，再挤上大量鲜奶油——同样也是要传给桌上的每个人分享的。不用说，等传到最后几位食客手上时，鲜奶油早就没了。我们倒也没饿着，但整体品质也就相当于学校食堂的水平罢了。演出和演员……这些演员同时还担任服务生。他们热情洋溢，音乐功底也不错。不过有个年轻女孩一心想要唱出那些超高音。剧情本身很糟糕，毫无亮点，拖沓冗长，也没有任何幽默感，简直烂透了。演出结束时我如释重负。
