点评：Brilliant place. A long-established wildlife reserve set among a series of lakes with long and short lakeside, woodland and garden walks. Beautiful flowers and birds everywhere from ducks to flamingoes. Amazing sculptures with a nature theme pepper the site and are a wonderful addition - especially the Sgt Pepper-like sound garden which is utterly superb walking along while the environment composes music for you. Cafe, shop, kids play park, chiropractitioner, art gallery, ice creams all available on site. NB. Bear in mind the only toilets are by the entrance so some planning required (especially with small children). There are also various nature events both daytime and some evenings and even weddings! It really has something for everyone. Another recent benefit is the VAT price reduction which if bought the day before meant adult entry was £13.50. Sadly it's the same price for all children older than 3 years old but it's a lot better than the nearly £20 per person in recent years and makes it even more acessible.
