One of the Highlights of Our São Miguel Trip

点评：We had the absolute best time at Quinta do Agricultor! This was one of the highlights of our trip to São Miguel.
We were able to interact with so many animals, including cows, goats, donkeys, chickens, ducks, and more. The animals were incredibly friendly and well cared for. Some of them roam freely around the farm, and they were so gentle and affectionate that we could pet and interact with them throughout our visit.
One of the most memorable parts of the experience was getting to milk a cow! It was such a unique and authentic experience.
The owner was exceptional—welcoming, knowledgeable, and passionate about his farm. He shared so much information about the animals, crops, farming traditions, and the history of the Azores. You can truly feel how much love and dedication goes into everything they do.
His wife prepared a wonderful homemade tasting for us, including fresh bread, homemade jams, delicious pineapple liqueur, and arroz doce. Everything was homemade and absolutely delicious.
We truly felt like we experienced authentic Azorean farm life. At the end of our visit, the owner told us, “You arrived as guests and leave as friends,” and that perfectly sums up our experience. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived and left with wonderful memories.
We highly recommend Quinta do Agricultor to anyone visiting São Miguel. Thank you for such a special and unforgettable experience!
