Spiders and slippery rocks, but keep going!

点评：So, first off… SPIDERS. 🕷️ If you do not like spiders AT ALL, either go somewhere else or be prepared to walk!
We arrived around 9:15 a.m., and as soon as we started walking across the little rocks, spiders were skittering in every direction with basically every step. I cannot deal with spiders, and neither could most of the people in our group. Honestly, we probably would have left if we hadn’t already paid the $20/car fee for 4 hours.
Instead, we headed toward the larger granite rocks you can see off to the right from the main little-rock area. There were definitely fewer spiders over there, but the rocks are CRAZY slippery when you’re trying to get into the water.
My biggest tip: keep walking! Don’t bring a ton of stuff with you because you’ll need your hands to climb over the rocks. If you keep going, you eventually reach a spot with a larger rock where you can jump into the water and swim. This area was much more enjoyable, with way fewer spiders, and we were able to actually relax and have fun.
So, if you’re okay with spiders and slippery rocks, you’ll probably love it. If you’re terrified of spiders like me… you’ve been warned! 😂🕷️
