点评：Every year when my husband asks what I want to do in the Outer Banks, my first answer is always the same — a trip to The Blue Lagoon. I absolutely love this little shop. The lovely assortment of handmade treasures from so many artists is only matched by the loveliness and kindness of the owner, Gracie.
I’m a sucker for the quality, uniquely handcrafted jewelry she carries, and it’s become my anniversary tradition to choose a piece from her collection each year. Every visit, we end up talking with Gracie — sometimes about the local area, sometimes about music, and sometimes just about life. She has a way of making you feel welcome, seen, and cared for in a way you don’t experience much anymore.
Her customer service is always top‑notch, her goods are consistently beautiful, and her warmth fills the whole space. When she found out it was our anniversary, she surprised us with our picks of the delicious chocolate truffles she keeps stocked. I left with gorgeous new jewelry and that familiar feeling of kindness that Gracie exudes so effortlessly.
