Three pine trees in an idyllic setting, wonderful scenery

点评：Friday 4th September we visited Amarandos Cove, located on the Cape on the southern coast of the Island.
The Cape became well known having featured in the Mama Mia Movie.
One of the features of Cape are these three tall pine trees that stand alone on the headland.
The trees create an idyllic vista with their green/yellowish pines contrasting with the deep blue waters of the Aegean Sea and the white rock on which they stand.
We parked up along the road side and walked towards the Cape. There are a number of pathways that lead through the bushes, scrub and trees to the rocky outcrop and the trees.
It was a bit disappointing when we got there as a group of selfish people had decided to sit and have a picnic directly under the trees, spoiling it for others.
Standing under the shade of the mighty pines was an opportunity to enjoy the wonderful rugged coastal scenery.
It would have been nice to see the trees with no one else around, there were not many people there. Most people visited the trees, took their photos and left leaving the place clear for others. It was just unfortunate that at the time of our visit people decided to hog it all for themselves, it did not ruin it too much for us, it was worth the effort to get here.

要是周围没有其他人就好了，其实当时那里也没多少人。大多数人只是去看看那些树、拍拍照，然后就离开了，把地方留给了后来的人。只是很不幸，我们去的时候，有些人却想把一切都据为己有。不过这倒也没太影响我们的体验，能来到这里还是值得的。
