点评：Rented a canoe, Vitrac to Beynac, suggested timing was 3 hours. After 1 hour the canoe had a lot of water in it and we had to stop and tip the canoe over to get rid of the water. When significant water is in the canoe it is heavy to row and steer. We thought it was our rowing technique. One hour later the canoe was sinking again with water and we stopped again. As we tipped the canoe over we noticed a split in the bottom of the canoe. Clearly the water was coming into the canoe. The company had a finish point at Castelnaud, so we stopped and swapped the canoe. There were no employees at Castelnaud to inform them of the issue. We did mention it to other canoeists waiting to be collected . So it took us 4 hours , with some hard rowing as the boat kept sinking. On our return to Vitrac we mentioned it to the receptionist. They had a great concern as to where we left the boat but not much worry as to the hard work we had to endure . The receptionist said sorry.
