点评：This was and absolutely fantastic journey. The crew really made this journey special. Simon, the skipper, his knowledge of the Kimberley gave us a fantastic insight into this amazing part of Australia. Each evening he gave us an update of the following day's activities. We were so well looked after by Mel and Maddy. The food that Jez served up from her galley was special. Simon, Jake, Phil, Dan and Cam took us out on the tenders to waterfalls art sites and through the mangrove creeks. We were able to get up close with the Kimberley scenery and history. Those sunrise excursions were a highlight as were the swims in beautiful rock pools. Being able to get in to places that not many other people experience was so special.
We were fortunate that this was a a photographic trip and we had the guidance of Glenn Smith. Even if you didn't have a specialised camera you didn't feel left out.
The atmosphere on the ship was relaxed and friendly. With only 22 travelers in total you quickly got to know everyone especially sharing the photographic experiences. The other passengers really help make this a great experience.
At 14 days with 13 of those on board Discovery 1 this felt just the right amount of time. The whole experience with Discovery 1 was absolutely fantastic.
