Fantastic first surfing experience – highly recommend!

点评：Having never surfed before, my wife and I fancied giving it a go, and we’re so glad we chose this surf school at Widemouth Bay.
The group was small, probably because of the time of year, with just the two of us and a couple of kids. Our instructor, Mike, who is only 17 himself, was absolutely brilliant.
What really stood out was how well Mike adapted his teaching to suit everyone in the group, from the kids to us “oldies” in our mid-50s! His instructions were clear, he was patient, and he kept a close eye on all of us while we were in the water. He was quick to point things out if we went off track and gave us great advice on when and where to use different techniques to get the most out of the lesson.
Most importantly, he made sure we were having fun and spending the majority of the lesson actually in the water enjoying ourselves rather than just standing on the beach listening to instructions.
It was clear that Mike has a real passion for surfing and plenty of experience despite his young age. His enthusiasm and ability to teach made the whole experience enjoyable and gave us the confidence to want to get back on a board again.
Thanks, Mike, you made this an experience we’ll remember and one we’ll definitely repeat whenever we visit.
