点评：We had a ball. The flights over Lake Eyre were nothing short of brilliant! Lachie was a great pilot and we never felt at risk at any point. (Important when you are in a relatively small plane flying at reasonably low altitude over a desert / lake environment!)😀
We finally met Tom at Coober Pedy where our 3rd day content started and what a character! We were soon initiated to the "Tom's Travel's Culture" and found it thoroughly engaging and a highlight of the trip!
The whole trip was an absolutey unique experience, from the majesticly vast aerial views over Lake Eyre, the surrounding flood plains and desert to the warm hospitality we got from the locals and the staff at Birdsville, Innamincka and William Creek. Special mention to Eddy and his son "Luigi" at Coober Pedy for allowing us into their home for a look at the lifestyle in a unique desert town.
Thanks also to Linda and her husband for the early start on Saturday and the attention to detail, incuding the coffee run, that enabled our small band of outback explorers to make a safe and timely start on our aerial adventure.
Tom and the team at Lake Eyre Tours are all top shelf and made it an unforgetable experience.
