点评：I recently hosted my twin sons’ birthday party at Sonny’s Place and left disappointed. We chose the Pick 3 package specifically for the go-karts because my boys have always been allowed to drive themselves during previous visits. On their birthday, however, we were told they couldn’t drive due to the company’s policy of being 10 to self drive a single car, but 16 to drive the double seater. My boys were celebrating their tenth birthday 7 hours early! This age requirement was never mentioned during booking despite multiple emails, and I noticed the policy didn’t appear to be consistently enforced with other guests.
We also added laser tag, but after being taken downstairs, the kids waited about 30 minutes because of poor communication about the start time. Had we been told there would be a delay, they could have enjoyed the arcade instead of standing around.
I will say the kitchen staff handled a food issue professionally, and I appreciated that. Overall, though, I expected better communication and consistency, especially for a birthday party.
To add insult to injury, I emailed management and the coordinator, whom I had spoken with on multiple occasions before the party, and they never even bothered to respond.
