Chitradurga Fort的点评
点评：Very well maintained fort, nothing special if you’ve seen other forts elsewhere in India, same kind of defense mechanisms etc. But certainly worth a visit if you’re around and want to know about local history.
Safety is not a problem, there were guides and decent security level at the main gate.
We couldn’t cover the fort due to rain and shortage of time The guides are very helpful. You need a decent fitness level to explore the fort as the steps are a bit steep and higher.
Make sure to book online tickets through district app as they dont have offline ticket sales. Try to be there by 7 am to beat the heat as it gets warm and humid in Chitradurg as the day progresses
Though the fort has adequate parking, the approach lanes are quite narrow, I’d recommend taking an auto for a hasslefree experience. Carry water and snacks as they are not sold inside the fort.
