点评:Spend ur money elsewhere. I booked a private 1-on-1 session in August 2026. Not with the head trainer.
What "coaching" means here: jump rope → pads → sparring. No technique. No correction. Not one thing taught. Coach only spoke a few words English and couldn't instruct even if he'd wanted to. This gym sells one-to-one coaching to foreign visitors and staffs it with someone who cannot coach.
The part that matters.. round two of three during sparring, the intensity went far past what I could handle. I asked three times: "lighter," "easy easy." He understood and answered "same you" — claiming I was hitting hard too, or that he's hitting as hard as I'm hitting him. I left with a black eye and abrasions across my body. He was unmarked. Doesnt seem like "same you" to me.
This was not a language barrier or misjudgement. He heard the request for taking it easier, replied to it and chose to keep hitting a paying customer who had asked him 3x to ease. A doctor confirmed the injuries that day. Days later I developed symptoms consistent with a rib injury. Documentation exists.
I stopped the session and walked out without paying. I was sold coaching but received a beating. Whether I was entitled to walk is a civil disagreement which have ordinary remedies.
Coach chose a different one. He ran after me, grabbed my bag, locked his arm around my neck, and dragged my backpack while raising his fist at me. I paid myself out of the situation.
Weigh that however you like, but weigh it honestly. A disputed bill does not entitle a business to choke a customer. Every normal option was available to him. He went straight to force and violence without hesitation. Draw your own conclusion about what is tolerated here, and about whether he is the only one there who would do it.
Before you trust the ratings on this page: Thailand's defamation laws are aggressive and posting negative reviews of a business carries legal exposure.. for tourists included. Most people who leave places like this simply say nothing. Factor that in when a venue's reviews look uniformly glowing. I'm posting because I'm not going back to the country and they have nothing to hold over me.
The session was filmed. Anyone who disputes this is welcome to the footage.
