Gatlinburg Scenic Overlook的点评
点评：Going to the overlooks in at The Great Smoky Mountain National Park is always a favorite. On the Pigeon Forge entrance side, you can get to two overlooks within 10 minutes. It’s free to just drive to them and park your car off to the side and overlook the beautiful mountains. If you’re going to drive any more length of the national park, you need to get a five dollar pass which you can get at the first visitor center within the park called the Gatlinburg visitor center. Or you can go further into the Sugarland visitor center.
It’s unfortunate, though sometimes when we were at the overlook, we saw that people leave food behind sitting on the overlook wall and guard rail which is problematic because that gets the bears accustomed to people food and they become not afraid of people. The last time we were there, we saw someone left their milkshakes behind which we took with us and threw out in a bear proof garbage can.
But that does not deter from the glorious mountains, which we will return to see once again!
