点评：Rarely does a traveller get to enjoy three sought after experiences at one venue; an incredible view with close vantage points allowing for a 50 mile vista, a real wine cave with barrels aging and a retail wine shop of maybe 40 wines, all local. And to boot, there's a great wine list and appetizer selection daily, plus lunch on certain days of the week. Here's the catch...unless you are staying at the hotel section, you will probably find this location on foot....and you will be walking up and down a few streets in the tiny hilltop village of Menerbes. Yes, it's tiny...but every step save about 10 is either up or down. But it's worth the walk. Oh...I forgot, it's a truffle museum too...and they serve truffle everything. Menerbes has castle ruins, top restaurants, art galleries, chapels and a couple cafes, also with great views. Tip...like many villages, most shops close after lunch and reopen late afternoon & the restaurants don't reopen until 7pm, so plan accordingly.
