Lovely day trip from Nairobi

点评：We visited Kiambethu Farm today as a day trip from Nairobi. We were picked up by our driver at 10:00 and arrived with time to use the washroom and wander through the beautiful gardens before the tour started. Sarah stepped in for her mom, who usually gives the tours, and did a wonderful job. We learned a lot about tea, saw the old way of processing it, were able to enjoy a hot cup with a variety of treats all before taking a walk with Dr. Julius through the indigenous forest to learn about the medicinal properties of the plants within. This was followed by a delicious and filling lunch set up on individual tables with umbrellas in the garden. We were ready to leave by around 2:30. It was a lovely and pleasant way to spend the day and we were back in Nairobi by around 3:15. A wonderful way to enjoy learning, seeing the beautiful countryside and experiencing warm hospitality. Highly recommend.
