点评：We visited The Empire as a family with some friends and had a fantastic night out. The live band was great as was the atmosphere and all for a modest fee at the door. The drinks were reasonably priced as well, not expensive at all! What I really want to shout out though is the staff, in particular Lisa who was in the booth on the door. My daughter has autism and wears ear defenders and can struggle on occasions with large crowds and loud noises, so maybe the venue was not the best place for her but we were out as a larger group. As a result of the noise, my daughter got overwhelmed and was getting upset so my wife went outside with her to calm her down and we thought we may have to leave. This is where Lisa stepped in seeing my wife struggling with our daughter who was visibly upset, Lisa very kindly invited her to sit in the booth with her where she could keep an eye on her whilst she occupied herself on her phone away from the loud noise whilst we enjoyed the music and a few drinks, popping out from time to time to check up on her. This act of kindness was going above and beyond, rescued our night and we can not thank The Empire and Lisa enough.
