Memorable 8 Days in Cuba--Visited the countryside and Havana

点评：Thank you CTAG and especially Alpi and Noel (our driver) for such a memorable adventure in Cuba. Your knowledge of Cuban history, nature, politics and everyday life put amazing context to the great sites we visited and experienced. Alpi is such a warm, energetic guy—we even visited his own house! Our eight day trip included visits to Trinidad, Cienfuegos, Havana and Vinales and included lots of nature—waterfall (don’t miss), beaches, bird watching, beekeepers (taste from the hive!), walks around old Havana, jazz concerts and too much more to list here.
I thought the most endearing thing I can say is how authentic everything seems. There is very limited impact from Western commercialism and that’s such a relief. Yet, my trip occurred in the midst of a very difficult time for the Cuban people due to lack of visitors and fuel, but it hardly impacted our trip. The food was wonderful as were the accommodations. Everyday was fun and rewarding. I am ready to return to see more.
The beauty of CTAG is they work with you to design your own trip and pick the sites you want to visit and Alpi and Noel are flexible once you have started. This was not a cookie-cutter trip following a set timeclock. You will be thrilled.
