My only regret was not buying the Blue Jays jersey

点评：I went to see the Toronto Blue Jays at the Rogers Centre on July 22 and this ended up being one of those Toronto experiences that I am really happy I did.
The Blue Jays played against the Tampa Bay Rays and lost 4 to 2 that day. Would I have preferred a Toronto win? Of course. Did it ruin the experience? Not at all.
First of all, the Rogers Centre itself impressed me much more than I expected.
It is huge, very clean, beautiful and incredibly organized. There were thousands of people around, but getting inside, finding our seats and moving around the stadium felt surprisingly easy.
I was also extremely lucky with my seat. I was studying in Toronto at the time and got the ticket through my school, and somehow ended up with an amazing view of the field. I could see everything perfectly.
Now, full disclosure: I am not a baseball expert.
I like sports and I can follow a game, but I did not go to the Rogers Centre because I had spent my entire life dreaming about MLB statistics. I went because I was in Toronto and wanted to experience something that really felt part of the city.
And I loved it.
There is so much happening beyond the actual baseball game. The music, the crowd, the food, all the Blue Jays shirts, the reactions when something happens on the field and that feeling of thousands of people experiencing the same thing together.
Even if you are visiting Toronto and do not know much about baseball, I would still recommend going to a Toronto Blue Jays game if the dates work with your trip.
It is fun, very Canadian, very Toronto and a completely different experience from simply visiting another tourist attraction.
And now for my major mistake.
I did not buy a Blue Jays jersey.
I looked at them and thought I did not really need one.
Of course, about five minutes after leaving Toronto I decided that I absolutely needed one. 😂
It would have been the perfect souvenir and, let’s be honest, my photos would have looked much better too.
So my advice is simple: if there is a Blue Jays game at the Rogers Centre while you are in Toronto, go.
And if you are standing in front of the jerseys wondering whether you should buy one, learn from my mistake.

除了棒球比赛本身，还有许多其他精彩内容。音乐、观众、食物，到处都是蓝鸟队的球衣；当场上出现什么情况时，大家的反应也很有趣。那种成千上万的人共同经历同一件事的感觉真是妙不可言。
即便你只是来多伦多旅游，对棒球了解不多，也值得一去。如果行程时间合适，我仍然推荐去观看一场多伦多蓝鸟队的比赛。
那会非常有趣，极具加拿大特色，也充满多伦多的气息，与单纯参观其他旅游景点是完全不同的体验。
现在来说说我犯下的一个大错误。
我没有买一件蓝鸟队的球衣。
我当时看着那些球衣，觉得自己其实并不需要一件。
可就在离开多伦多约五分钟后，我就意识到自己绝对需要一件了。😂
那本该是最完美的纪念品啊。说实话，我的照片肯定也会拍得更好看。
所以我的建议很简单：如果你在多伦多期间，恰巧有蓝鸟队的比赛在罗杰斯中心举行，那就去吧。
如果你正站在球衣前犹豫是否要买一件，那就以我的教训为鉴吧。
