Assiniboine Park的点评
点评：Assiniboine Park is another one of our favourite places to visit in Winnipeg, whether it’s as a family or just the two of us. There is so much to do that you can easily make a full day of it, and because the park is so big, it never feels overly crowded.
The Cargo Bar is one of our favourite spots to visit, whether we’re having a drink as a couple or bringing the kids along. There is also a delicious Mexican taco truck serving food, which is perfect for grabbing a snack while relaxing. They have garden games, music, fire pits and plenty of seating, making it a lovely place to spend some time.
The Children’s Garden is exceptional and probably one of the best children’s play areas I have visited. The kids can spend hours there! There are also picnic and eating areas inside, which is perfect if you want to bring your own food, and Sergeant Sundae is only a short walk away for an ice cream.
The English Rose Garden is one of my favourite places to visit with my husband and just relax. There are plenty of places to sit, and I especially love visiting when they have the free jazz concerts, usually on a Sunday afternoon. The gardens are beautifully maintained, and the staff throughout the park are always friendly and helpful.
The group bikes are an absolute must if you’re visiting with family or friends! Hands down one of the most hilarious things I have ever done. We had four adults and three children on one of the big four-wheeled bikes, and it was so much fun. It was also a great way to show everyone around the park. The bikes are located near the entrance as you come across the bridge from Portage Avenue.
The outdoor theatre and movie nights are also highly recommended. We love taking our camping chairs, blankets and a picnic and having a family movie night under the stars. There are snacks and food available from the outdoor catering, but they are very expensive. Unfortunately, the food we had, which was hot dogs and burgers from the park catering beside the stage, was probably some of the worst we’ve had. I would definitely recommend taking your own picnic instead.
There are free toilets throughout the park, which is really useful when you’re spending the whole day exploring different areas. There are also plenty of free parking spaces, as well as Uber options if you don’t want to drive.
Overall, Assiniboine Park is one of our favourite places in Winnipeg. There is genuinely something for everyone, and we can easily spend an entire day there without getting bored. We will definitely continue coming back.

如果你是和家人或朋友一同前来，那么租借团体自行车绝对是必不可少的体验！这绝对是我做过的最有趣的事情之一。我们一行四人成年人和三个小孩一起骑了一辆大型四轮自行车，玩得极其开心。这也是带大家游览公园的绝佳方式。这些自行车就放在从波特奇大道过桥后靠近入口处的地方。
露天剧场和电影之夜也绝对值得一试。我们喜欢带上露营椅、毛毯和野餐食品，在星空下享受家庭电影之夜。现场还有餐饮摊位提供各种小吃和食物。不过这些食品价格非常昂贵。可惜的是，我们在舞台上方的餐饮区买到的热狗和汉堡，可能是我们吃过的最难吃的食物了。我强烈建议大家还是自带野餐食物吧。
公园里到处都有免费卫生间，当你一整天都在各个区域游览时，这真的非常实用。此外，公园内还有大量免费停车位；如果你不想开车，也可以选择叫Uber。
