点评：My husband has dreamed of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro for as long as I can remember. Every now and then he would mention it, but we never seriously planned the trip until 2019 for the summer of 2020. Like so many others, those plans came to a halt. We told ourselves, "One day."
Life had other wonderful plans first. Our kids got married, grandbabies arrived, and we stepped into a beautiful new chapter. Then, at the beginning of 2025, we realized if we were going to make this dream happen, it needed to be soon. We weren't getting any younger! So we booked our July 2026 climb with Kilimanjaro Experts—and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we've ever made.
From the moment we arrived, the Kilimanjaro Experts team exceeded every expectation. Our guides, Faraja and Mariam, were incredible leaders. Their experience, encouragement, patience, and constant attention to our safety gave us confidence every step of the way. They knew exactly when to push us, when to slow us down, and how to keep our spirits high. A special thank you also goes to Henry and Joshua, whose hard work, kindness, and support behind the scenes made this journey possible. Every member of the crew treated us like family, and we will never forget their smiles, songs, and unwavering encouragement. Their joy was contagious!

Watching the joy on my husband's face as we reached the summit made every steep climb, freezing temperature, sleepless night, and sore muscle completely worth it. I love this man, and I love that we accomplished this dream together.
I'll admit I started each day feeling excited, scared, apprehensive, and determined—all at the same time. But this mountain taught us that words like faith, trust, confidence, and courage aren't just things we say. We truly understand their meaning when we choose to live them, one step at a time. Kilimanjaro gave us lessons we'll carry with us for the rest of our lives.
Our adventure didn't end on the mountain. We also experienced an unforgettable safari with our guide, Vincent. His knowledge of the animals, their behaviors, and the incredible ecosystem was simply amazing. Every game drive felt like a master class in nature, and his passion made the experience even more meaningful.
If you're considering climbing Kilimanjaro or going on safari in Tanzania, we cannot recommend Kilimanjaro Experts highly enough. They don't just guide you up a mountain—they become part of your journey and help turn what seems impossible into something unforgettable.
