点评:We spent an entire sunny August afternoon wandering the forest paths near UBC, but ending up down at Acadia Beach just before eight o'clock completely stole the show. We found a huge, smooth piece of driftwood right above the rocks and just sat there for nearly an hour while the heat started to cool off. The tide was low, and seeing the downtown skyline across the water light up in pink and pale orange as the sun went down was increadible. A couple of container ships were sitting completely still out in English Bay, and you could hear the water lapping gently on the stony shore. It was an extremely perfect spot to sit after walking through the shade of the huge trees all day. The whole park covers so much ground out by West Point Grey, and coming out of the dense woods directly onto that shoreline breeze made the walk totally worth it.
