Hidden fees, worn gear and constant smoking on the dive boat

点评：I strongly advise anyone to stay away from Soul Scuba Divers in Raja Ampat. My partner and I booked two dives in advance with a clear package price, but things went wrong right after we arrived.
The staff pushed underwater photography on us nonstop. We clearly told them we didn’t want photos, yet the dive guide still took pictures underwater and demanded payment afterward. They also charged extra for basic mask and snorkel rental, which was supposed to be included in our booking.
The diving gear was worn out. The BCD had sticky old salt residue, and the regulator smelled musty. The pre-dive safety briefing was rushed in 3 minutes, almost no safety check. Our dive guide was distracted and smoked constantly on the boat. I have allergic rhinitis, and the smoke made me have a bad runny nose the whole trip.
When we complained about the extra fees and poor equipment, the manager was rude and refused to solve our problem. This is a dangerous, overpriced dive shop. Do not book here.
