点评:Always a great visit as there are things to see that are missed on previous visits. Go on Tuesday free night if you can. If not admission price is reasonable for all you can see. As a local a yearly museum pass is great. An hour gives highlights but 2 hours better. Only on cruise ship in port days it is too crowded. Atmosphere is a mixture of tradegy with displays on Halifax Explosion and ship wrecks including Titanic. Other areas are fun- models of Theodore Tugboat animated cartoon to just sea faring stories. The HMCS Sackville docked nearby is a separate admission but is Canada's last Corvette destroyer from World War II and is well worth the step back in time visit. Only downside at museum there is no rest area for a snack so you must go out. However there are lots of nearby food services. Not all the museum is open due to lack of staff which can be disappointing if you are visiting on those days.
