Beautiful beach seems to go on forever....

点评：Very interesting stretch of shoreline on the Canadian side of Lake Huron. Beaches that seem to stretch on forever. To be honest, I was expecting white dunes of sand like you see on other beaches but these were covered in vegetation which I believe helps to retain the sand from blowing away and keep the dunes intact. In any case my wife and enjoyed our brief visit and drove around the mostly empty park during the end of the week, but was quickly filling up just before the long Labour Day weekend. We stopped for lunch at the cafe and had a nice meal. I really enjoyed the seasoned french fries and the burger wasn't bad. You can rent water craft if you are in need of such things. We should come back and camp here for a few days to get a better feel for the environment. Keep an eye open for signage at the various beach parking lots as there are many marked for dog use and the inherent risks that come along with loose pets. Although they are supposed to be on a leash, many weren't.
