The Scottish Deer Centre的点评
点评：I have visited the deer centre many times before. It was always quite a nice day out but nothing too special. It was always on the smaller side of an attraction but that was part of its charm. It seems to be focusing more on being a kids venue than an animal park now which is a shame. It is detracting from the original purpose which was a deer farm. The deer seem a bit of an afterthought now.
One of the things I hated was the 'pay what you can' entrance fee. Im sure it benefits some families but all it does is reward the cheeky/arrogant folk who can actually afford it but want everything for nothing and everyone else pays for them. We can afford to pay it but it left us feeling like we were getting a bum deal and tarred the whole trip.
The animals all look a bit sad and bored, a lot of pacing going on.
There was very little staff going about, we witnessed people feeding the animals that they weren't supposed to be feeding a few times. We did say to one family but got a mouthful of abuse back so didnt bother after that.
It would have been nice to see the plane but we couldn't get across the train tracks to see it until the next break but we weren't there that long. A lot of the park was closed off as well which they didnt mention when asking for the full amount at the entrance.
All in all a bit of a disappointing visit and doesn't make us want to rush back. If you have small kids they will love all the play stuff with the addition of a few animals.
