A Hidden Gem for Rock Hounding and Exploration

点评：Ruggles Mine is such a unique day activity, especially if you enjoy rock hounding, exploring, and digging! We go to Ruggles Mine for our anniversary every year, and it has become a tradition we look forward to. We had another wonderful experience this year and already can’t wait for next year’s trip!
This year we had the opportunity to meet the owner, Joe, along with his wife, son, daughter-in-law, and grandson Dean. They were all incredibly friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the mine, its history, and the amazing rocks and minerals found there.
It’s so special to explore a place with such a rich history while learning from a family who knows the mine inside and out—and of course, searching for your own treasures! 🪨💎
