Practically empty and suffering from poor presentation
National Museum of Macedonia的点评
点评：Not really worth a visit.
This review encompasses what’s essentially two museums crammed into one – the history museum and the ethnographic museum.
There is only one exhibition and it is about South/Greek Macedonia in 1900-1949 and it is taking up a semi-large room.
If you come here looking for the history of Macedonia (in broad strokes) you will be very disappointed.
The museum is also incredibly difficult to find. Google Maps is not helpful here and you either have to find the one sign in town that shows that you need to cross an inconspicuous parking lot or take a wild gamble at a random staircase to get there. It also promises “archeology”, alas, no archaeological artifacts to be found anywhere.
In fairness, they said they were working on another exhibition, so I don’t know the true potential of the museum, but there really wasn’t anything worth the annoyance of finding the place and spending the (very modest) entrance fee.
The ethnographic museum is much larger, but is extremely poorly lit and lacks almost any contextual information. You are just given an item to look at and if you are lucky, there is an info-piece, but it is either placed on a background that makes it very hard to read or the text is so tiny (and often so close to the ground) that you can’t read it. The bad lighting doesn’t help here.
As a dual experience, there is no reason you should waste your time here if your stay in Skopje is limited.
Maybe check if there is a contemporary exhibition that might make it worth your while.

从体验角度来说，如果你在斯科普里的停留时间有限，那完全没必要在这里浪费时间。或许可以先看看有没有什么当代艺术展览值得一去。
