点评：For several years, it had been my wish to experience climbing a peak in the Slovenian Alps on an unmarked route, away from the crowds, something challenging for me, with unspoiled alpine views and a real sense of achievement.
On 12 August, my friend and I climbed with Grega from Kofler Sport Široka Peč (2497m) starting from Gozd Martuljek (Kofler sport organized a van transfer), traversing to Dovški Križ (2542m) and descended to the Vrata Valley, where we took the bus back to Mojstrana.
It was the most adventurous and one of the most stunning days of our summer 2026, guided by Grega from Kofler Sport. Our tour lasted 11 hours, exactly as our guide had estimated. Throughout the entire climb and traverse, Grega provided confident, calm and patient guidance. He shared information about the surrounding peaks and routes and gave us useful advice on how to move safely and efficiently in alpine terrain. He also took beautiful photos of us, giving us a wonderful lasting memory of the day.
We had already used the services of Kofler Sport in 2024, when we climbed Slovenska smer in the Triglav North Face with guide Igor. That experience has also stayed strongly in our memory.
We can highly recommend Kofler Sport, and especially guides Grega and Igor. Both were punctual, well organized and calm, with excellent alpine guiding skills, very accurate time estimates, professional and friendly.
