点评：We had such an incredible experience with Bass River Kayaks & Paddle Boards! This was my first time kayaking with my border collie, Barrett, and Ashley went above and beyond to make sure we felt prepared and confident before we even got on the water.
She took the time to help us decide which type of kayak would work best for a first-time paddler with a dog, explained everything we needed to know about navigating the river, and even pointed out great spots where Barrett could safely hop out and swim. Her knowledge, patience, and enthusiasm made what could have been an intimidating experience feel exciting and completely manageable.
The shop itself is adorable, surprisingly large, and located right on the Bass River, making it incredibly convenient. They even rent equipment to help you transport kayaks on your own vehicle if you want to rent for a day or two and explore elsewhere.
If you’re looking for a genuinely dog-friendly business, this is it. Barrett was welcomed with open arms, and it was clear the staff loves seeing dogs out on the water.
Whether you’re an experienced paddler or trying kayaking for the very first time (especially with your dog!), I can’t recommend Bass River Kayaks & Paddle Boards enough. Ashley made the entire experience unforgettable, and we’ll absolutely be back.
