Tuktoyaktuk Visitor Information Centre的点评
点评：The Visitor Center has been enlarged and in August 2026 they were setting up a new washroom container to the left of the existing Visitor Center.
We were welcomed by a friendly young lady and she gave us plenty of information, including a map of the town.
Also, this is the place where you can buy the permits for camping on the shore of the Arctic Ocean.
In August 2026 a non hook up pitch was CAN$ 30.- + tax, with electric hook up it was CAN$ 60.- + tax.
The pitch is just a gravel parking lot, no privacy, nothing special at all and the privies were a disgusting disgrace in August 2026.
But I vehemently disagree with statements made about Tuktoyaktuk by others.
There is plenty out of the ordinary to see and experience in Tuk.
Every last one, of the locals we talked to was very friendly, interested and made us feel welcome there.
Bit don't go to 'the end of the road' expecting Disney World.
