Ravinia Festival的点评
点评：We went to SEE and hear an artist and did not get that. I had never been, shame
on me for not researching, but really wanted to see him. We had lawn tickets. We arrived 2 hours early and the lawn was completely packed. We ended up with a partial viewing of a screen.
It’s a “pretty” venue, but it’s for artists who do not perform - jazz, pianists, orchestra along those lines. People seemed to attend to socialize, which is fine. Lots of fancy picnics going on, people bring carts full of stuff.
Getting there from the city was easy, leaving was a mess. We left 15 minutes prior to the show ending and still barely made it on the first train most people were taking. It was completely packed, standing room only. People pushing to get on, people with carts and large coolers clogging up the line. Then we sat for about 20 minutes? There was only 1 more train back to the city after that so I guess if everyone can’t fit they have to Uber? I can’t imagine driving.
Artists’ teams need to research this venue as it doesn’t make sense for everyone, especially those that perform.
I also only saw one bathroom for literally thousands of people. I’m sure there were more but I only saw one so I tried not to drink anything to avoid having to go.
The positives - you don’t need to bring chairs if you are coming from the city/out of town. You can rent them which is what we did. I believe you could also rent tables. You can also bring food and drinks. There were drinks and food available, but the lines were long. It looked like there were even a few restaurants? They both also seemed to have very long lines. Not sure how they operated as for as reservations or just wait.
I would not go again or recommend going unless it’s someone you only need to listen to. Or it’s someone not well known so you don't have to deal with the mess of getting out of there.

艺人团队需要好好研究一下这个场馆，因为这对所有人来说都不太方便，尤其是对表演者而言。
另外，在成千上万人当中我只看到了一间卫生间。肯定还有更多卫生间，但我只看到了那一间，所以为了不用去上厕所，我尽量什么都没喝。优点：如果你从城里或其他地方赶来，不必自带椅子。可以租用椅子，我们就是这么做的。我觉得也可以租用桌子。此外还能自带食物和饮料。现场确实有食物和饮料出售，但排队的人很多。看起来还有几家餐馆？不过它们的排队队伍也同样很长。不清楚它们是需要提前预订还是只能现场等候呢。我不会再去了，也不推荐别人去，除非对方只是需要你倾听的人。或者对方没什么名气，这样你就不用为如何离开那里而头疼了。
