Great tour! Very informative and interesting glimpse into the life of a coal miner in PA

点评：We loved this tour! Very interesting to do with 2 older teen boys who love history. We took a short train ride on a train similar to what they would bring the miners in. Watch your head! LOL It's very noisy too - but fun. We went into the mine and had a very extensive tour of the mine shaft and the inner workings of the mine and it's history. The tour was about an hour. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, and very personable and would answer your questions. They have an interesting museum which has artifacts and mini replicas of the original mine. My sons left with an appreciation that they were born now and not in those times in a mining community, as it was a hard life. To me it was one of the best activities we have done in the Poconos! Definitely do this! Definitely a great value for just $15 per person!
