Affordable, Scenic and Peaceful — Worth the Stop

点评：If you’ve got a couple of hours free, this is a lovely little spot to check out. It only costs EC$2.50 to get in, and there are actually two ways to enter, either through the gift shop and restaurant, where you can see the falls from a raised viewing platform, or through the main gift shop entrance that takes you down the stairs to ground level. Both routes give you great views, and it’s perfect for snapping a few photos.
You can swim in the falls, and lots of people do, but the water is around 20 metres deep, so it’s really best for confident swimmers. Even if you don’t go in, it’s a beautiful place just to sit, relax, and take in the scenery.
Outside the falls there are a few arts and crafts stalls worth browsing nice for picking up something handmade or local. One thing to note: when I visited, neither I nor my relatives had any phone signal, even though we were on different providers. So it’s definitely one of those “switch off and enjoy nature” kind of places.Overall, a really lovely stop if you’re exploring the area and want something peaceful, scenic, and easy to get to.
