点评：Our hopes for a wonderful experience did not occur.
A local doctor recommended McEvoy Ranch for a relaxing afternoon of wine and oil tastings.
Unaware of the need for a reservation, the hostess found a table where she could serve us while also tending to the gift shop area.
We appreciated the accommodation and assured her (Marie) we would be low maintenance.
We ordered tastings, 2 wine flights, 1 oil, 1 vinegar and 1 summer tapas. We thoroughly enjoyed the scenery, music and tastings- exactly what we were hoping to experience, staying roughly 1 1/2 hours.
As we were paying our bill, another customer interrupted and asked the price of an item in the store, apologizing for the interruption yet the server/cashier stated "dont worry they are just walk-ins". This unfortunately ruined our entire experience. It rolled so quickly off her tongue and insulted our family. Once she assisted the other customer she continued with ringing up our bill, while noticing it wasn't our items, she corrected it multiple times. We purchased 4 items in the shop and with our tastings and a 25% tip, our bill was over $300. We rechecked our bill after paying and noticed that we were double charged on an item and shared this with the cashier/server. She corrected the $48.71 (summer tapas) overcharge and we left. Oddly enough, when we returned home, we visited their website, noting that on Tuesday's (the day we visited), has a buy one get one free on wine and oil tastings- clearly we did not receive this discount either (order #2000285229).
Was this stop worth it, undecided.
However the atmosphere was very peaceful, the menu items are over priced and our interaction with the server that clearly acted like she did us a favor was not worth the stop.
