点评：Our family has made multiple trips to Sanibel Island and a highlight is always riding bikes at Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge. This was our first trip since 2022 so we were hoping the hurricane had not changed things too much. The visitor center is a great first stop and has plenty of information and displays. We went down a trail that was just left of the entrance gate and saw tons of birds and an alligator. The park looked mostly like I remembered it. The only downside is that two of our favorite areas are closed. The first is a dock near the front of the park that led out to a great view of the water through a trail of the mangrove trees. The other was a boardwalk trail right near the park exit. Despite this we had a wonderful day and would recommend this park to anyone visiting the island.
