Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library & Museums的点评
点评：Excellent museum with so many weapons brought back by Hayes' son Webb! Loads of artifacts from the Rutherford B. Hayes family, each with a story, made visiting the museum a true treasure.
The home tour, led by Dick, was very good. He has a lot of knowledge in his head! We especially enjoyed hearing that there is a symphony concert on that beautiful lawn every now and then, dinners served in the dining room around the holidays, and many ways for people to be involved in the life of this stunning home. It truly is a marvel with 31 rooms, 15 fireplaces and furniture that belonged to the Hayes family. So well-tended and kept.
There's also President Hayes' library....the first Presidential library in the nation. He was also the first president with running water in the White House, as well as having the first typewriter and telephone there. His wife, Lucy, was the first First Lady to hold a college degree.
