点评：Considering the enormous expense it takes to reach this park, it simply isn’t worth it.
The fort is falling apart and so access is increasingly limited. Finding a way to reach the mid level tier took some investigation and we never did find it for the top. There wasn’t a tour option of the fort available when we were there, just various signs and again no direction on how to optimally view the fort so catch as catch can.
I saw zero fish along the pilings or moat wall. I did not venture further out as the waves were so high that I didn’t feel it was safe. One of the two beaches was closed probably because of the rougher waves. You can’t plan around the weather as you have to make reservations so far in advance to get a seat on the plane or ferry.
I would suggest Fort Zachary Taylor Park as an alternative. The fort is in much better shape and there is a tour you can take to learn more. I have read (but beach was closed at the time so can’t confirm) that you can see more fish than Dry Tortugas. You could just walk into the park free.
