点评:Spent a long weekend in Santa Fe and took a quick run-down to Albuquerque and spent several hours wandering around mainly the Old Town. Would have loved to do it on the Rail runner but didn't have the time. The buildings mostly date back to 1870-1900 and reflect the influence of the original Mexican settlers & the Native Americans of the region. The Plaza is the central feature with the park & Catholic Church dominating with shops spreading out far & wide. There is a vast choice of shops & stalls with also street vendors. Something for everyone and it kept the wife happy which is good! Being a Saturday afternoon, it appears that the local car aficionados head to the plaza and do laps in their well-kept machines and as a motor head myself, I loved the V8 burbles! Well worth spending your time in the old town and surrounds.
