点评：My family of four visited parts of Abruzzo well off the beaten tourist track with Marino in June 2026. The experience truly lived up to its billing of authentic encounters with locals passionate about their traditions, food, and culture. Marino and I first met over a video call months before our trip, after which Marino sent over a proposed itinerary, pricing, and other details. After some modifications, we settled on a mix of 3 fully guided days and 2 self-guided days (still with Marino's detailed itinerary guide and Marino just a call away) to meet our budgetary constraints.
I requested an active tour with a focus on food, and our diverse activities on the tour included an e-bike ride around Roca Calascio and Santo Stefano di Sessanio, truffle hunting, tasting a variety of local specialities, and wading in the Adriatic after a leisurely meal in a trabocco, and a wonderful meal hosted by Marino's friends.
Marino is the perfect guide, caring, professional, and passionate. He's also just fun to spend time with and talk to. Whether you are interested in Abruzzo's most popular sights or doing a deep dive into some part of Abruzzo's traditions or culture, you can't go wrong with booking a tour with Marino.
