best falls in the area.
Gooseberry Falls State Park的点评
点评：this was a must stop along the lake shore drive. just off the main highway 61, well posted signs. paved driveway to the parking lot. paved short but inclined pathway to the visitor center.
there are 3 viewpoints with 3 seperate trails to the falls viewing area. There are also extended trails that put you on the falls itself. ( i personally dont think they should allow this) not only is it dangerous but ruins the pictures for the rest of us.
The falls are beautiful even with the people splashing around in them. and worth a visit. It was raining the day we were there so we only did 2 of the 3 lookouts.
the visitor center was sub par for the most part but did provide information on the falls. trails, and other. clean bathrooms on site. picknick areas and bridges to see also.
there are no restaurants here so plan accordingly
