Nice ruins
Navajo National Monument的点评
点评：We got a little bit late to this attraction. Also, the clouds started to cover the sky. We had some rain and snow. Fortunately, not for long.
We've decided to take the short Sandal Trail to Betatakin Overlook to see the ruins. During our hiking, there was only one person on the trail(love it!). The view was super. I wish to go all way down to the canyon to see the ruins from close distance. Maybe next time.
After the hiking we saw an opportunity to see more. There was a short hike down, closer to the canyon. Aspen Trial. There was a big drop as far as the distance. We took it as far as we could go, until we saw a closed gate. It was an exercise. Coming back up was even more challenging, but we did it. We were near the bottom of canyon. I think this is the beginning of the trail which can take you to the ruins, but this is ranger guided tour and wasn't available during our visit(mid April).
I recommend this place.

徒步结束后，我们发现了一个可以继续探索的机会。有一条更靠近峡谷的短途徒步路线，叫做白杨小径（Aspen Trail）。这条小径尽头就是一个巨大的落差。我们一直走到尽头，直到看到一道紧闭的大门。这真是一次锻炼。返回的路程更加艰难，但我们最终还是成功了。我们当时已经接近峡谷底部了。我想这里应该是通往遗址的步道起点，但是这条步道需要护林员带领的游览，在我们四月中旬去的时候没有开放。
我推荐这个地方。
