Mid butterfly garden, wildlife was overflow parking clogging the “nature” trail

点评：I’ve been to many botanical gardens and Fairchild was marketed as a must see for visitors to Miami. Decent visitor center but lack of signage had us aimlessly wondering until we found the buildings that comprise the butterfly garden, etc. Compared to the Cockrell butterfly center in Houston (9/10) I score Fairchild as a 4/10.
Then we broke away from the crowded areas to get to the “nature trail.” I have had better experiences in most urban nature parks that I did not pay $28 a person to see.
The trail was a road. On other days it may have not been used as a busy automobile through way and parking lot. Basically we dodged cars as we walked down it to experience nature.
We left this place thoroughly disappointed. Big fail on us, please avoid.
