泰国大象之家的点评
点评：This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience for our family and exactly what we had hoped for when coming to Chiang Mai. We traveled with our four children, ages 5, 7, 10, and 13, and every one of them absolutely loved it.
We chose to have an elephant for each of our children. Our youngest, ages 5 and 7, each had an experienced guide ride with them, while the rest of us had guides walking alongside our elephants. This worked out perfectly because I could enjoy riding my own elephant rather than having to ride together with one of the younger children.
The elephants themselves were incredibly gentle and well behaved. They seemed genuinely happy and comfortable with their caretakers and with us. They had such wonderful personalities—they would give the kids hugs and kisses, spray them with water, pose for pictures, and have all sorts of fun interactions with them. There were so many moments when everyone was simply laughing and enjoying being around these amazing animals.
What impressed us most was the relationship between the staff and the elephants. You could genuinely see how much they love and care for them and how much time and attention they give them. The elephants truly seemed to be treated like part of the family. We were also taught how to interact with and respect the elephants, which made the experience feel much more meaningful than simply visiting somewhere to see them.
The entire day was wonderfully immersive. We spent so much time with the elephants, enjoyed a mud bath with them, bathed with them in the river, and had a delicious, authentic Thai lunch. Nothing felt rushed or like a quick tourist attraction. We really felt like we were spending the day getting to know the elephants and learning about them.
Everyone at Thai Elephant Home was wonderful and took such great care of our entire family. Our children felt comfortable and cared for throughout the day, and the guides were patient, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy sharing the experience with us.
We truly loved every part of this day. Thai Elephant Home was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Thailand and created memories our family will talk about for years.
If you’re visiting Chiang Mai—especially with children—and are looking for a personal, immersive, and unforgettable elephant experience, we cannot recommend Thai Elephant Home enough.
